
MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
With a size of 3,230km2, this is Tanzania’s 4th largest national park, bordered by the Selous Game reserve and the Udzungwa national park, it is located between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango range, Mikumi is also only 4 hours drive from Dar es Salaam the most vibrant business city in Tanzania with a diverse population and surrounded by the Indian Ocean thus, giving you a chance to learn about Tanzania’s culture, business practices, visit the beaches and later drive for a quick game drive at Mikumi national park.
There are about 400 bird species supported by the ever-changing cast of water birds, the hippo pools provide close access to the mud-loving beasts, there is a good chance of seeing the big 5 that is the lion, cheetah, elephants, buffalo and, rhino while in Mikumi national park. Mkata flood plains provide the best spot to see the world’s largest and powerful antelope (e-land).
