Migrating over the Acacia plains, Serengeti national park offers you the opportunity to witness migration of millions of wildebeests. The Serengeti National Park is beyond any park that you have visited. The vibrancy of the migrating wildebeests, the warm smiles of the Masai natives, and the spectacular sunsets are all reasons your trip to Serengeti will be one to remember.
The park was established in 1951 and covers 5,700 square miles (14,763 square km) of some of the best grassland range in Africa, as well as extensive acacia woodland savanna. With elevations ranging from 3,020 to 6,070 feet (920 to 1,850 meters), the park extends 100 miles (160 km).
Visiting Serengeti is an all-year-round possibility, however, if you want to be in the middle of the great migrating action it is best you plan your trip in the months of June, November. Generally, Serengeti offers the best viewing sites even in the months of August and October. The Endless plains of Serengeti awaits!!!
